This month, we had a quick and interesting chat with our proactive and empathetic customer success representative, Adeola, who keeps our prospective and current customers happy by responding to enquiries and resolving complaints in a timely and professional manner.

What do you do and what role do you play at Vella?

I am a customer success Representative at Vella. My role primarily involves ensuring that our customers are satisfied with our services and assisting them with any questions or concerns they may have.

What does your typical workday look like?

My typical workday involves communicating with customers through various channels, such as phone, email, or chat, to address their inquiries and provide support. I also work with other team members to resolve customer issues efficiently.

What aspect of working at Vella do you enjoy the most?

The work life balance and the great people I get to work with on the team.

Which do you prefer, working from home or going to the office and why?

I prefer working from home because it offers me a more flexible and comfortable work environment. Though, I would love to work from the office sometimes.

What sets Vella apart from all the other places you’ve worked?

Vella stands out because of its strong commitment to and focus on innovation in the finance industry.

Describe what you do to a five year old.

I talk to people on the phone and computer to help them with their money, making sure they’re happy and everything is working as it should 😊.

What is one thing you wish you could change about your job?

As I mentioned before, I’d appreciate the chance to work from the office one or two days a week.

What is the best piece of advice you have received?

The best advice I’ve received is to always listen to our customers attentively and empathetically. By understanding their needs and concerns, we can provide better solutions and build stronger relationships.

When you are not working, what do you enjoy doing??

Hmmm, I love experimenting with new recipes and creating a variety of dishes. It’s a source of relaxation and creativity for me.
